Verdant Birdie Plant Shop

About/Synopsis: Verdant Birdie came about when my wife was looking for a name and a logo to use to start her plant shop.

While brainstorming for useful alliteration and rhyming, she’d mentioned that her mom’s nickname for her when she was younger was “Birdie.” We decided to use something with a matching syllabic rhythm since the meaning was just right for the feel of the overall brand.

We tested different logo ideas, type choices and color options with her female friends since they best represented our audience. I also edited photos of the plants and fine-tuned supporting imagery to best suit the fun, friendly and feminine sensibilities of her shop.
