Brazil Motion Titles

Client: Personal (Undergrad)

About/Synopsis: This motion titles project was my introduction to compositing and video editing. One of the main stipulations was that we use none of the source material and base our concepts entirely on themes and moods present in the films. (*Aside from the back of the DVD case)

I was tasked with creating the work in AfterEffects, but I experimented with and augmented the work with other tools, such as Vectoraster, iMovie, and FFmpeg. I utilized Youtube and Vimeo to a greater extent than I had before this work, familiarizing myself with some of the analytics tools and social portions found on these sites. This was one of my favorite Terry Gilliam movies and I loved using it as my theme and source material for this project.
